Complimentary car washes give me a good chance to look at the new Lexi including this RC that’s yellow. I don’t know why it’s yellow and I don’t know what to think of it.

At least it’s a color! ! !
So rare these days, especially in luxury cars. I’ve seen better shades of yellow, but I’m not complaining.

I’m not big on this yellow either. It needs to be a less of a faded color.

It’s the colour of the sauce I just poured over my asparagus. Not that this is neccessarily a good thing.

I like it. The wheel color works well with it too.

With the amount of pollen it’s been impossible to do it myself.

I think I rather use a touchless mechanical wash than to let a dealership wash my car.

You used the wrong type of mustard.

I love it. I finally saw one on the road and I think it is quite nice in person. It’s not really too odd for Lexus either - they had that bright orange on the RC for a few years before switching to this.

The lighting inside their showroom is horrid. That color pops when out in the sunlight.
The Molten Pearl orange was the same way. It looks faded under artificial light, but when sunlight hits it your eyes are not prepared for the explosion of photons.

Because yellow is the best yellow for a car?

*Thread hijack*
I have a good friend that bought a 2018 Rav4. The headlights are the base ones with the pulse modulated halogen DRL but damn it if that headlight housing looks like it has the LED option built into it. My question is to my fellow Toyota peeps is, are the LED DRLs in there and can they be hacked into or it it just a drsign for manufacturing purposes?
Thank you for your time

Dad just got back to m. He said “Yes”. Man of few words he is. Actually, I‘m surprised he answered before he left the shop today.

They don’t stock ‘em because they think they won’t move ‘em. That said, if it’s a sportier model...they really have nothing to lose by stocking it because it’s going to move.
Case in point, the Audi dealership near me only has one or two S3s on the lot at a time and they always go quickly. So a real color might have to sit on the lot one more week. The horror!
